BES Rock~N~Read Summer Book Club

I really enjoyed hearing all your comments about the books you are reading.  I’m glad it is hard for some of you to pick your favorites.  Remember to tell your friends who are not part of the club about books that you think they will enjoy.  Mrs. Byrd and I sent the pictures to the paper.  They will probably be in the August 6 edition of the Belton Honea Path News Chronicle.  I hope you enjoy your new books.  I’ll see you the first day of school.  Happy reading!

I am looking forward to our next Rock~N~Read meeting on July 25th from 10:00-11:30. I’ll see all of you there! I’m glad to see that some Rock~N~Readers have posted some new book reviews.  I’ve enjoyed reading them!

Hi!  I just read a comment from Mary Kathryn and Lanee about regretting not picking a certain book.  You can read and comment on any book on the South Carolina Book Award List, even if you didn’t put it on your original list.  I recommended that they go check out the book at the County Library.  They had to put Dexter the Tough on hold for Katie, but she had the book in her hands within 4 days.  The librarians there are very nice, and they will be happy to assist you get other books on your wish list.
